Join the Redcoat Band

Redcoat Band membership is open to any UGA student (Athens campus) following a successful audition--regardless of major, minor, or year in school. 

Here are the steps:

  1. Apply for UGA admission. First apply for admission to the University of Georgia and receive your 811 number (also known as UGA ID).
  2. Prepare your audition materials. Audition and submission requirements vary by section. See the links below for details.
  3. Complete the Redcoat Band application. You will need your 811 number and contact information for a reference.
